Flush mounted internal relief valves are primarily restricted to trucks transporting LP-Gas, NH3, and other compressed gases. Type H722 and H732 stainless steel relief valves are rust and corrosion resistant, making it ideal for trucks. The stainless steel makes it easier to remove the valve from the tank for the periodic testing (as prescribed by DOT) and fits the more economical standard tank couplings. Tight fitting protective caps come standard on the valves to ensure minimal debris obstruction in the valve discharge.
